Inserting text from another file
- When it comes time to add text to our publications here in Publisher 2013, we have a number of different options. For one, we can simply click placeholder text and type right over the selected content, whether it be a headline, like we see in our newsletter here or paragraph text, with it highlighted or selected, it's easy to simply start typing, but what if you already have the text, say in another file a Word document or a text file, for example. Well, there is an easier way and we're going to talk about that now as we continue with our K-E newsletter. We're on page one, just under the headline announcing K-Eco Mini Panels, which we've already added. Now we're ready to add the actual content to the paragraphs and you can see there's actually placeholders here for three paragraphs, side-by-side, even though there's an image that we'll be changing later on. We can have up to three columns of text. So let's keep that in mind now as we go to insert the file itself into this…
