Inserting a sound from the clip art gallery

PowerPoint comes with a library of images, animations, and sound clips. All of them are free to use and even more are available for download from Microsoft.com. Here's how to use PowerPoint sound clips in your presentation. Click on the Insert Ribbon. The third button says Clip Art and it toggles the Clip Art Gallery open and closed. Right here where it says Results should be, it now says All media file types. Click on that dropdown and if you turn off the checkmarks in front of illustrations, photographs, and videos, when you click Go you'll see all of your sound clips.

Now I'm going to put that back to All media types for a moment and click Go again. Then close your Clip Art Gallery. You can also insert Clip Art from the Clip Art Gallery using this Audio button on the far right-hand side. Click on the bottom half, right on the dropdown arrow.
