When it comes to using Office, there are a lot of versions available to you. This course is going to be using Office 2011 on the Mac. However, if you're a student, I highly recommend checking out the student pricing for Office 365. Office 365 is different, actually, on the Mac and the PC. If you're a Mac user, you'll be using Office 2011. Which, as of the date of this recording, is the latest Office version for the Mac. If you're using Office 2011 as this course will. You'll notice that the Tools are between the ribbon, which is the top section of tools. As well as the Application toolbar. We'll be accessing both these areas to locate the various tools that we use inside this course. If you're a PC user, then you could have access to Office 2013 if you have an Office 365 subscription. The Office 2013 is a little different. Here, all of the tools are found in the ribbon, and you do not have access to the Application toolbar.
