- [Voiceover] Integration between SharePoint and Excel ranges from the simple to the truly magnificent. On the simple end, we start with the basic collaboration that we have whenever we're using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, any other Office application, with SharePoint. By saving my document in a SharePoint library, I've made it possible for other people to use it as well and I've opened door to collaboration. All I have to do is choose File, Save As, and save my file here in this documents library or in the resource library and I have a document that I can share with others. Or I can upload documents. So, for example, this Excel document, Events by Location 2015, I can click in the library and open it in Excel online. We'll see a note in the yellow banner that says there are some features in the workbook that can't be shown in a browser. That's because Excel is more complex than a browser.
