Join Gini von Courter for an in-depth discussion in this video Creating a contact from an email, part of Outlook Web App (OWA) 2013 Essential Training.
…There's another way that I can create a contact that…doesn't require me to type a name or an email address.…I can go back to Outlook and if I have received an email from someone,…for example Susan Smith Webb, and I would like to add her to my contacts list.…She's outside of our organization, she's not…going to be in our global address list.…So I'm just going to click on her email…address and notice that it says add to contacts.…I can click add to contacts. It will pull over her email address.…It will allow me to enter her first and last name.…
Any other information, I want to add, and then I can simply click save.…And when we go back to people and I look at my contacts list, there she is.…That works great.…Now, I don't have to wait for her to send me an email.…If she's included as a to or CC on any…email that I've received, I can do the same thing.…So, in Outlook, any time you have somebody who receives…an email, or is copied on an email, you just - Click and point…and you can add them, that quickly and…that easily. If they are already on your contacts…
