Microsoft Word allows you to save any document as a template, which will allow you to access it to create a new document at any time. As an educator, if you have a specific document which you use for lesson plans, rubrics, or newsletters, you can save it as a template and quickly open and edit a new copy at any time.
- [Instructor] In the previous video I discussed…templates that are available for Microsoft Word,…however, sometimes there's going to be documents…you need to create that there just isn't a template for.…Let's say that one of them is a specific…lesson plan template and you look for one…but don't find one that you really like,…so you decide to create your own.…Well, here I've created a shell for a lesson plan…that I want to use, and it's the one that our school…approves that has all of the information on it…that I need, and it's not yet filled out.…So rather than fill it out and copying this…and replacing it each time, I want to save this…as a template, so in this video I want to go over…how you can save one of your documents as a template.…
Right now I'm going to go to the upper left corner…and click File, and from here I'm going to clicK Save As.…Now with Save As, instead of saving this as a Word document…I want to click on the drop-down, and from the drop-down…list I'm going to select Word Template.…I'll click this, up here I'm going to keep it…
