In this video, author Megan Hoffman demonstrates three ways to create a PowerPoint presentation including blank presentations, presentations based on design templates (themes), and presentations based on a template that includes content by starting from a free customizable Microsoft online template. Master these MOS objectives as a part of your prep for the MOS PowerPoint 2013 exam.
- [Voiceover] In this video you'll learn…three ways to create a presentation…including blank presentations,…presentations based on design templates or themes,…and presentations based on a template…that includes content.…You'll notice there are icons on the screen…to designate which of these objectives…are mostly likely to be on the MOS exam.…So you'll want to practice those most.…So what you see on the screen right now…happens when you launch PowerPoint 2013…for the first time.…This is the new screen and it's the…starting place for building new presentations.…What I'll do first is create a new blank presentation…by clicking on the blank presentation…square at the left-hand side.…
So what I'm looking at now is…just a blank presentation with one slide.…It's kind of like it sounds.…You get a white background and black text.…If you notice in the lower, left-hand corner,…PowerPoint always tells you how…many slides you're displaying.…From here it's easy to add text…just by clicking where it says…click to add title.…And then I can just start typing my text.…
