Use categories to assign one or more category names and colors to an item. With categories you can visually code items, filter items, and group like items together. To apply a category to a selected item choose Categorize. Click All Categories to view the list or assign multiple categories, or select a specific category from the drop down list. The first time you use a built-in category you’re prompted to rename it.

You'll always find a way to get to Categories…on the ribbon, and you can also get to Categories…by right clicking and choosing Categorize.…There are six built in categories.…If you haven't changed any of them,…they will be your blue category and your green category…and your orange category and so on,…and the first time you use one of these…who's name ends in category, you'll be prompted…"Do you want to rename this?"…You're only going to be asked this once,…although there are other ways to rename this.…But I'm going to choose Finance.…
