- [Instructor] If your video is under or overexposed…you can adjust the brightness and contrast…right inside PowerPoint without having to open up…third party video editing software.…Here's how we do it.…Here on slide four I have our 90-second video TV spot,…and it's a bit overexposed.…Basically, it's overly bright,…so I would like to darken this clip a little bit.…So, once it's selected,…I can come up to the Video Tools tab to Format,…and over here on the far left side we have the Adjust group,…and there's a button here with the sun on it…that says Corrections.…Clicking on that gives you this grid of 25 squares.…
The current levels are the ones in the very center…with the box around them.…Brightness 0%, and Contrast 0%.…As you hold your cursor over the other boxes,…you can see your media clip get brighter and darker.…So, brightness is the amount of light or exposure…in the media clip.…It goes from left to right, low to high.…Low brightness is almost black,…and high brightness is almost white.…Contrast is the difference between the lightest…
