Adding a photo to a contact

Welcome to chapter 6, "Contacts." The videos in this brief chapter will help you better manage your contacts while saving time. Our first tip is a fun one. If we have a digital photo of a contact, we can append it to their contact card. It will automatically appear whenever they've e-mailed us. Here's how. We'll start by pulling up any contact: a coworker, client, or vendor. I'll double-click on the photo area and then navigate to wherever their photo might be on my computer. Note that you can also use their company logo, if you don't have a portrait photo.

After choosing a file and pressing OK, it automatically appears on their card. Now if I look at any e-mails they've sent me, their photo appears in the e-mail heading. Depending on your mobile device and synchronization, you might even see their photo appear the next time they call your cell phone. Our next will help us remember our contacts' important days, their birthday, and anniversaries.
