- You'll know an email contains an attachment…because in the summary view there's a paperclip icon.…At the very top of the email,…you can see details about the attachment itself.…Such as what it's called, how large it is,…and how many there are.…In this case there's two attachments…so I can click the blue underlying text…to see both attachments.…To act on those attachments there's a few options.…The first thing I can click is "preview all".…In this case these attachments are PDF files,…so Outlook can recognize those.…
If it recognizes them, when I click preview…I'm going to get a small window…in which I can go back and forth…and quickly look at the contents of those attachments.…I'll click the "x" in the top left hand side…to close out of it,…and from here I could double click on the attachment…which would launch it directly in my computer,…but I can also file them.…I'm going to secondary click with my mouse,…and I get some options.…The first option is to open it,…which is the same as double clicking on it.…I can click "save as" which will allow me…
