This course will explore innovative ways for educators to utilize Microsoft Office applications and services. It is expected that users have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office and how to use it. Throughout the course, other courses are shared for those who would like to learn more about specific apps.
- [Instructor] In this course we'll take a look at some innovative ways for educators to use the tools available in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Sway, OneNote, Word, and more. These tools and tips are relevant to educators in K12, higher education, or in corporate training. This course will not however be going over the basics of how to use each of these tools. It's expected that you have a basic level of understanding when it comes to Microsoft Office. If there's one of the tools that you need to learn more about, no worries. Our library is full of courses that go in depth on how to use each of these specific tools.
Although Microsoft Office is available on both PCs and Macs, for this course I'll be using the most recent version of Microsoft Office on a PC, that is Office 2019. Other than some minor differences including the top ribbon on the PC version verses the menu bar on the Mac version, the programs are very similar. So the course should benefit you no matter what type of computer you're using. Let's get started.
