In this video, learn what the requirements are for following along in this course, such as Office 365 login credentials and internet connection.
- [Instructor] Well here's what you need to know to follow along with me in this course. First of all, it's tailored to those who are or will be end users of Office 365. Logging in to their accounts to work with the various apps available to them in the organizations. So we won't be getting into any of the functions an administrator might use to deploy Office 365 in an organization. Checked in the LinkedIn Library for courses tailored to Office 365 administration if that's of interest to you. Now there are many different Office 365 subscription models to choose from, which we will get into a little bit later on and I'll be working with one of the business subscriptions. Now you may be working with a different subscription model as you follow along, in which case you're user interface may look slightly different from mine and the apps you can access may also differ from mine, but not to worry. You should still be able to follow along with ease. Now because Office 365 is mainly cloud based, it's always being updated and improved. So, you might log in one day and it'll look a little different the next. This again means that what you see on your screen could differ from what you see on my screen even if we're working with the same subscription model. Again, this should not effect your ability to follow along with me. Of course, if you do want to follow along with me you'll need to have a login. You can sign up for free at microsoft.com. Just look for Office 365 and once you have your username and password, you'll be able to login and follow along with me as we move through the various chapters and movies in this course. And lastly, there are no exercise files used in this course. So there's nothing for you to download. For those times when we will work with files, such as for sharing with teammates, you can simply follow along with your own files. That's it. We're now ready to get started.
