Using the AWS Marketplace

- [Instructor] Although Amazon makes it possible to install your own software into an EC2 instance, you don't have to do things that way. You can, instead, opt to use the AWS Marketplace. The AWS Marketplace contains software that's already set up to run in EC2. So let's take a look at the Marketplace. As you can see, I'm signed into the Marketplace right now. And to access the Marketplace, all you have to do is log into the EC2 Console and then go to aws.amazon.com/marketplace. And, if you have trouble remembering the URL, you can always enter AWS Marketplace into your favorite search engine. So let's take a look at how the Marketplace works. If I scroll down a little bit, you can see that we have popular categories, so we have things like operating systems, security, networking, and storage. So let's go ahead and take a look at the Security category. I click on Security. We can see security products that are set up for use with EC2. And so for each one of these products, we can see…
