- If you have a large Inbox, it's very easy…with Outlook for Mac to search it.…The easiest way to get started,…is to click your mouse on the top right hand side…of the screen, in the Search This Folder box,…and start typing your query.…In this case, I'm going to type "Leslie."…I have a lot of emails from Leslie.…As soon as I start typing, my Inbox starts filtering…with those search results.…I can further refine it in this box.…For example, only emails that are from Leslie,…or that have the word "Leslie" in the subject line.…
In this case, I'll click "from leslie" and instantly again,…my search results get further refined.…Something else happened.…I have a new ribbon tab called Search.…In here, there's some more refining that I can do.…The first thing I need to decide is…where I'm going to search.…It defaults to searching in the current folder; that is,…my unified Inbox.…But I can change that.…For example, any particular subfolders,…all mailboxes from all my email accounts…that I have set up with Outlook,…and I can even expand it to search all Outlook items.…
