- [Instructor] We've seen that spam is unrelenting and administrators must maintain a constant vigilance against unwanted email. Thankfully, Office 365, Microsoft 365, and Exchange Online have tools that can help minimize the amount of unwanted spam messages that reach user's inboxes. Since we cannot prevent a spammer from sending spam, the only option is to seek protection from it. Microsoft users have virus scanning service called Exchange Online Protection, or EOP. By providing multiple antispam technologies within the global network of data centers, Microsoft is in a powerful position to be able to remove harmful content way before any messages get delivered to your users. You can fine-tune and control the antispam settings for Office 365 and Microsoft 365. To do this, you'll use the Microsoft 365 security and compliance center, which we'll see later.
