- Not every business has a dedicated IT Department. Sometimes, therefore, it makes sense for an organization to outsource some or all of their management of their Office 365 Tenant. This can be accomplished by partnering with a company who's especially skilled in this area. Microsoft Partners are authorized to provide Microsoft Services. By using a Microsoft Partner to manage your office 365 subscription, they effectively become a remote IT administrator for you organization. There are thousands of Microsoft Partners worldwide. And there are specialist in one or more Microsoft Technologies. A partner that offer two levels of service, Full Administration, which gives the privileges equivalent to the Global Administrator. Or, Limited Administration, with privileges equivalent to the Password Administrator. Let's take a look at how you'd find a Microsoft Partner. Using the website on screen we can search for solution providers. You'll enter your city, or address. Your organization size. And then search for products or skills that you're looking for. Or type, Office 365. And also, Microsoft Teams. And click go. The search engine finds the best match, what companies within 100 miles of my city. And in this case, I've identified three possible partners. These can be sorted by best match, responsive time, or nearest to me. We're then encouraged to make contact to select a provider. We'd complete the simple form. And submit this to the partner. Once you've agreed to work with a Partner, you'll need to give permission to your Microsoft Partner for them to work with your office 365 subscription. If the partner is a Cloud Solution Provider or CSP, they'll be able to log into their Partner Admin Center and view their customers, for which they have delegated Admin privileges. Easily find, select, and perform administrative tasks on behalf of their customers. View their customers Office 365 service, health status, and details. And create, edit, and view service request on behalf of their customers. These are the top-level steps that you'll need to complete to add a Delegated Administrator to your Office 365 Subscription. Your chosen Microsoft Partner will email you asking for permission to act as a Delegated Administrator. You will need to read the terms and conditions of the partnership included in the email. And then authorized the agreement by clicking on the link in a email. An Authorization web page will open and you'll need to click yes to authorize the partnership. Delegated Administrators are then shown in your Microsoft 365 or Office 365 Admin Center. You can delete a partner relationship at any time. And then the partner can't access or modify any aspect of your tenant. Let's take a look at where your partner relationship would appear within the Admin Center. On the left hand side menu I'll select, 'Show All'. And then click settings. At the bottom, I'll select Partner Relationships. Here you should be able to see any partner company that is a cloud solution provider that has access to your tenant.
