Office 365 ATP Safe Attachments policies
- [Instructor] As soon as you create your first ATP Safe Attachments policy, the functionality will start to work and your policies will be propagated to all Office 365 Debt Centers within 30 minutes. Once you enable the ATP Safe Attachment feature, each email attachment will be thoroughly scanned before any email can be delivered to a recipient. This can incur a slight delay for the delivery of emails. You can use a feature called Dynamic Delivery which is an option that you can enable within the ATP Safe Attachments designed to mitigate the delay. Creating policies with a dynamic delivery option allows the body of the email to be still delivered immediately. A Placeholder will also be included for each email attachment whilst it's waiting to be scanned. In this way, the recipient can immediately read and respond to their emails without being put at risk from malicious attachments.
