- [Instructor] As you may recall when we created a Lightsail instance, we were asked about how much storage we needed to provision that instance with. For example, if I click on "Create instance" and go to Windows. Choose Windows Server 2016 and then come down here. You can see that the instance type that we selected, the $10 a month plan came with a 30 GB SSD. But what if we end up needing more storage than that? Well, there is a way to provision an instance with extra storage. We can create a virtual disk, and then attach that virtual disk to the instance as if it were an extra, physical hard disk. So let's go ahead and take a look at how you would do that. I'm going to back out of here and what I'm going to do is go up to storage and you can see that we have a button to create a disk. I'll click on, "Create a disk" and then, we have to choose the disk location and generally you're going to want that disk to reside in the same availability zone as the virtual machine that it…
