Manage snapshots

- [Instructor] Just as you can create a snapshot of an EC2 instance, you can also create a snapshot of a Lightsail instance. So let's take a look at how to do that. As you can see, right now I'm on my Lightsail dashboard, and you can see the instance that we've been working with, and we've got a few tabs along the top of the screen. And one of those tabs is Snapshots. Now it would be easy to assume that we could create a snapshot by going to the Snapshots tab, but that's not actually how it works. Let me show you. If I click on Snapshots, then there's no mechanism here to create a snapshot. All we have is a link to a webpage to learn more about snapshots. So that being the case, let's go back to the Instances tab. If we want to create a snapshot, then what we need to do is click on this icon that consists of three dots. So I'll go ahead and click on that now, and when I do, that's going to bring up a menu that gives us a few different options. We have Connect, Manage, Stop, Restart…
