Join an EC2 instance to a Cloud Active Directory

- [Instructor] So now that we've created an active directory environment, we can begin joining other systems to the active directory. But before we do that, we need to make sure that the active directory is ready for use. So let's go ahead and do that. Right now, I'm logged into the AWS console, and you can see that I've got a list of the various AWS services on screen. If I scroll to the bottom of the list of services, and go to the security, identity and compliance section, you can see the link for directory service. I'll go ahead and click on that link now, and this is going to show the directory service that we created, and, you can see it right here. So we can see that this is a Microsoft active directory, of standard size, we can see that the domain name is poseylabs.com, and we can see that the status is active. So, that tells us that this is ready for use. So I'm going to go ahead and click on the directory ID right here, just to show you some of the options that are available…
