- [Instructor] Our third section will cover the articles specifically relating to the GDPR third main category, which is Increased Duty for Data Protection. Let's review the functionality and tools offered by Microsoft 365 available for this category. Article 25 is data protection by design and default. Office 365 has service encryption and application level encryption via Word, Excel, and other applications. Data transferred using OneDrive, SharePoint, and Skype is encrypted during transit. And Office 365 has been developed with data protection by design and default using Microsoft Security Development Lifecycle and privacy policies. An example is that in Office 365 there is no default access to personal data. Article 32 manages security. Windows 10 includes BitLocker drive encryption for hard drives and data volumes.
