Enabling ATP Safe Attachments

- [Instructor] Malware is often introduced via email and malicious code can be contained or embedded inside email attachments, such as inside PDFs, application files, macros, or scripts. When the attachment is opened, an executable program or macro code is activated, which then infects the PC. The code will try to make changes to Windows, such as installing a keyboard activity logger, or key logger, to steal passwords or encrypt data on the PC and demand a ransom to decrypt the data. We know that ATP Safe Attachments helps us guard against malware and offers zero-day protection against viruses carried by email attachments. All emails that are routed to your domain are checked and scanned, and emails with known malware within them are deleted. Any emails with suspicious attachments are stopped and rerouted to a sandbox environment for investigation.
