- [Instructor] In the Office 365 environment Microsoft hosts your mailboxes and takes care of all the routing for you, but there may be times when you require custom routing of mail. This may be required for your on-premise data loss prevention, post-processing of messages, or to deliver to a trusted partner. In this lesson I'm going to show you how to configure an outbound mail connector for our trusted partner, the bank. And to do so, you'll need to pop into the Exchange admin center and then select mail flow and then connectors. And you'll notice here that we have Inbound Connectors and Outbound Connectors. We're gonna go ahead and configure an Outbound Connector. And gonna go ahead, click plus, provide a name for our connector. I'm just gonna call it The Bank. Next we have to specify the Connector Type. We have Partner or On-premise. I'm gonna go ahead and select Partner, as this will be The Bank. Next you can add in any comments as required.
