- [Narrator] Let's take a look at using the attack simulator to perform a brute force password dictionary attack. I'll scroll down and then click Launch Attack. I need to provide a name for the attack. I'll call this IT Team Brute Force Attack and I'll target this at the IT team members. I can search for members or I can type in individual members. I'll type in IT and then select the IT distribution group and click Next. We can then choose to type in passwords to use in the attack or I can upload a file containing passwords. If I type the passwords in and press enter after each one. And if I want to upload a file, this needs to be in text format. Be careful not to have too many passwords in the text file as this can slow down the operation and may cause errors. I'll click Next. On the confirmation screen, click Finish and then click Refresh. Whilst ever the option to terminate an attack is available, it means the attack is still in progress. Let's take a look at the attack details. We…
