Connect to an instance
- [Narrator] Since we've got a Windows virtual machine up and running, let's take a look at how to connect to it and access the Windows Operating System. What I'm going to do is click on the virtual machine instance to select it and then I'm going to click connect, and as you can see there's a couple of things going on here. We have a button to download a remote desktop file, so we're going to be connecting to the virtual machine instance using the Remote Desktop Protocol, or RDP as it's often referred to, and then we have the Public DNS. We have the username, which is going to be Administrator in this case, and then we have a button to get password. So if we don't already know the password for this virtual machine instance, we could click on get password and then we could select the Key Pair. So I'll select my key file, and then decrypt password, and so there we have the password, and I'll just select the password and I'll right click on it and choose copy. Now, all I have to do is…
