Connect to a Lightsail instance
- [Instructor] So now that we've created a Lightsail instance, let's take a look at how we access that instance. If you watched any of the videos on Amazon easy two, you'll recall that it was a bit of a task getting it to an easy two instance. We had to use a key pair to retrieve a password and then once we had that password, we had to use an RDP client to access the instance. Well the good news is that we don't have to do any of that for Lightsail because Lightsail will allow us to access the instance directly through the browser. So let's take a look at how this works. Here you can see the instance that we created in the previous video. And just to the right of the isntance's name, you'll notice we have an icon that looks like a monitor. You can see that icon right here. And clicking on that icon will cause a new browser window to open and it will take us directly into the instance. So let's take a look at how that works.
