- [Instructor] When choosing equipment to use with Microsoft teams, you need to avoid poor quality devices as they can cause audio quality issues. Good quality devices can help with echo cancellation, noise filtering, video resolution, and can actively reduce your network latency. Microsoft offer guidance for when you need to purchase hardware devices such as headsets and microphones, and these are known as certified devices. Microsoft provide a certification program which outlines device requirements for hardware producers to follow. Hardware producers can then design and build their devices to meet the outlined specifications. Then if a device meets Microsoft requirements, the device can be certified by Microsoft. You can view a list of certified devices which Microsoft have approved. You can then choose which projects are the best buy for your organization, knowing that they will be fully compatible with Microsoft Teams.…
