Attach a new network interface

- [Instructor] In most cases, when you create a new instance in EC2, that instance is only going to have a single virtual network adapter associated with it. So, right now, I'm logged into an EC2 instance, and if I right click on the Start button, and go to Control Panel, and then Network and Internet, Network and Sharing Center and Change Adapter Settings, I can see my one virtual network adapter. From there, I can right click on the Start button and go to Run and type CMD to open a command prompt window and then type ipconfig. You can see the IP address that's associated with the virtual network adapter. Let's go ahead and close this out, and let's add an additional virtual network adapter to this EC2 instance. I'm going to go ahead and close this. Before we can just add a virtual network adapter to an EC2 instance, we can to create that adapter. The way that we do that is by scrolling down here, and we go to the Network and Security section, and we have an option for Network…
