- [Presenter] Malicious links inside emails sent to your users can trigger malware. Over the recent years, these links are becoming really hard to tell the real links from the fake ones. Your users need all the help they can get. The Office 365 ATP Safe Links feature seeks to remove the chance that a user will be lured into clicking a malicious site hyperlink contained in an email or document. The ATP Safe Links feature works by using a proxy server to check the destination of all URLs that are presented to the user. When a user clicks on a link, the URL is redirected to a Microsoft server. The link destination is then checked for malicious content and any links to malicious websites will be dynamically blocked before they can cause any harm. If a malicious link is detected, the user is shown a warning message, the website is added to a blocked list, and the data is collected for reporting purposes for your administrator.
