- [Instructor] When I receive a message that was sent to me,…I will reply to that message.…If a message is sent and I'm only copied on it,…then etiquette says I don't need to reply,…but often I might wish to.…If I want to reply to a message,…I can simply choose Reply…and notice that the message is automatically addressed…to the person who emailed me,…and I can then provide whatever information I wish here.…A message history, when I click fill message history…embeds the message that was sent in my reply,…when is a nice thing if there's been some delay…in my replying.…
I'm going to discard that message.…If I choose Reply All, in this case…I'm still only emailing one person…and the reason is that there's only one sender…and only one recipient.…So Nick wrote to me, I'm replying to Nick.…But if I look at a message that had multiple recipients,…and I Reply All, notice now that this is being sent…to Cecelia and 11 more people,…and if I click I can see them.…Here are all of the people who will be emailed…if I send this message.…
