Nuke never used to have an audio capability because visual effect shots are…normally done without a sound track.…However, with Nuke now being used in commercials and broadcast television, an…audio capability was added.…For this we use the AudioRead Node which can read both WAV and AIFF audio files.…To see how it works let's go get an AudioRead node, go to Miscellaneous…tab, select AudioRead.…In the Property panel here we are going to browse for our file.…
So click on the file browser.…We will go to our Project Media, the Lesson_05_Media and the…clickTrack.wav file.…Now stop right here.…We have to use FrameCycler in order to playback our audio clip.…FrameCycler will not tolerate any spaces in the audio file name or the pathname.…Nuke doesn't have a problem with it, but FrameCycler will not work.…So it's essential that pathname and the filename have no spaces.…
So what I've done is I've copied the clickTrack.wav file to my Desktop.…So I will go there, Home> Desktop>clickTrack.wav file>Open.…So, no spaces in the pathname or the filename.…
