Setting shape attributes

Shape attributes set things like the color, transparency, feathered edges, and more. Some of the attributes effect all shapes in the node while others are on a per shape basis. So let's start by taking a look at the shape list. Note that I set the output to RGB, so we can see everything in the RGB channels of the viewer. The shape list down here appears in all tabs, not just the roto tab. For selecting shapes you can click on the shape as we saw in our previous video, click out here to deselect. Click on a shape in the viewer. Click here to deselect. Or you can also click in the shape list itself to deselect. You can select multiple shapes with the Cmd or Ctrl, so I'll select this one, Cmd or Ctrl that one. Click over here to deselect. You can also use the Shift key to select the list. So I'll select rectangle one and do a Shift-click on this one and all the in-between shapes are selected. By the way, very important point, if you want to delete a shape you always want to use this…
