Refining the final look

- In the last movie, we sweetened the character's comp with a little color correction, a little edge blending, and, of course, some interactive lighting when he steps into the new room. Now let's go through the rest of the composite, tightening up issues here and there. First thing we should do is have some motion blur on our doors. So I have the playhead on frame nine because the doors are in motion and, of course, we'll find our door animation up here in the background. So let's just slide on in here and here are the two transform nodes that open the left and the right doors. So I'll double click on transform one to open that up. We'll slide on down here to the motion blur and simply turn that on and the left door has motion blur. Open up the transform node for the right hand door, slide on down, turn on the motion blur, and now the right door has motion blur. One of the reasons for leaving it off until the last minute is because motion blur is kind of expensive and it'll slow down…
