Match-moving

The same tracking data used for stabilizing a plate can be used to match move an element to it. Here we'll see the work flow for match moving a small graphic element to a larger clip using the tracking data from the previous stabilizing video. Now here's my graphic element here. This small Eiffel Tower graphic. Notice that it's dimensions are only 80 by 145. What I want to do is track it to this much larger plate, and we'll play the clip just to remind you what it looks like. So we have translation, rotation, and scale that we want to do a match move. Drop that, jump to frame one, and let's open up the Tracker node. Again, we already have our tracking data, and very importantly, on the Transform tab the transform selection is None, meaning that the tracker node is not going to be moving the background plate at all.
