Key light is another world class keyer for blue screen and green screen keying that's particularly good with fine hair detail. Here we'll see how to dial in a basic key or mat in key light speak. We'll start by adding the key light node. I'll select my green screen. Come up to the keyer tab. And select the key light node. And key light hooks into the source, which is your green screen, and we'll hook up the BG input to the background. The first thing we need to do is select the screen color. And we do that by turning on the eye dropper, and sampling from the screen. Now here, there's a bit of an issue. If I use the standard shift + Cmd/ctrl, and drag a rectangle, you see I'm getting this bizarre behavior out of it. Well, the problem is that the sampler is pulling from the output of the key light node. What we really want to do, is sample the input. The original green screen.
