- Well now that we've got the keying and the spill suppression roughed in, we can now switch our attention to compositing or merging him over the background and final positioning. So let's push in over here because we're gonna working right here in this area. So let's start by doing just a basic composite. We'll get a Merge node here, bring it down, hook it in and see what we got. Of course he's not color corrected yet we're gonna tighten that up a little later in a final pass. But we do need to get his size and position correct. To do that let's add a Transform node right here after the pre-mold. So I'll select Pre-mold, type t, get a Transform node. And our scale factor let's set that for .8, and for the position let's set the x for 118, and the y for minus 97. There that positions him and sizes him quite nicely to step through the doorway. Now the original character is not the same size as our project see he's 1024 by 576. Where our project is 1024 by 465, so I wanna do a reformat…
