C# and .NET developers: Learn how to transition to enterprise Node.js development.
- [Robby] Node.js presents both a lot of benefits and a few challenges for the .NET developer. With its rapid prototype ability and large userbase, Node.js is only getting more popular every single day. This can cause a lot of questions for developers unfamiliar with this framework. For example, what about debugging, memory management, multi-threading, Async, class libraries, packages, unit testing? The purpose of this course is to address these concerns and more as we unpack what's available to us in Node.js and why we might want to build applications on a framework besides C# and .NET.
Don't get me wrong, I love working in C# and .NET, but Node.js is a great framework as well, and being comfortable with both will only make your more valuable and experienced as a developer. Well, with that said, let's dive right in. I'm Robby Millsap, but you can call me Sap, and this is Node.js for C# Developers.
