Scott wants to deploy the blog application to Heroku. He logs into his Heroku account and creates a new application. Scott then demonstrates the process of pushing the application to the deployment server and debugging any issues.
(heavy bass and flute music)…- [Scott] Like I said, I'm just going to go through deployment.…I think it's better.…I was just going to have notes and, like,…this is how you deploy and this is it.…But it's so much better if we just walk through it.…Especially if you want to follow along on your computer.…Or just watch me go through it…and watch me stumble through all…the nuances…that everybody goes through…because that's just what happens.…So let's do it, let's just go to Heroku.…And especially if you've never deployed on Heroku before,…I think this will be great to see somebody…who thinks they know what they're doing…how to do it, so…that'll be really cool.…
So let me see...…Don't be tryna count my password length.…I see you all over there.…(laughs)…So let's just make a new one.…We'll make a new app…and we'll call it ng…Block…- api.…Oh, only lowercase huh?…Okay.…We'll use this convention now.…There we go.…Create app.…
And Heroku actually kind of upgraded.…Now, they, like, integrate it with GitHub…so you don't have to do anything anymore.…
