(swiping entry)…- [Instructor] Let's turn our attention…to the final challenge server.…Scan4.certmike.com…I'll again begin with a simple nmap scan.…These results tell me a few things.…First, this server is running an Amazon Web Services…like the other three that we've scanned.…And I see that it also supports Remote Desktop Connections…on port 3389.…Then I see three ports that haven't come up…in my scans before.…Ports 135, 139, and 445 are associated with…Windows File sharing.…
That's an unusual set of services…to be running on the internet.…So I should follow up with the server administrator…to confirm whether those services…really should be running there.…Now let's try running operating system detection.…I'll clear the screen first.…And then run nmap with the dash capital O flag…against the server.…I'm hopeful that having some more services exposed…will gie nmap a better opportunity…to determine the operating system.…And I see that I get the same results…as I did last time.…
