Working with iZotope Neutron in your DAW

- [Instructor] Izotope Neutron is a powerful mixing plug-in that works inside your DOS. When you've installed Neutron your typically going to want to load it on a track where you want to perform various mixing functions. In this case I have Logic open as an example and I'm just going to go to where my plug-ins are located. Let me go down to my Audio Units, to my Izotope folder and here you can see that we have several different versions of Neutron. That's because in Neutron Advanced we can load each of the individual modules as a separate plug-in. Whereas in the Neutron standard version we only have this full version. I'm going to go ahead though and load the full version as a stereo instance. And this is the default state when the plug-in opens. Now let's really dive in and take a closer look at the interface so we can get an idea of how everything works.
