Skill Level Beginner
(intense piano music) - Hey everybody. It's your host Mike Meyers welcoming you to yet again, another of lynda.com's CompTIA Network+ certification course. Now, this is episode four, which is making TCP/IP work. If you've been following along in previous episodes, all we've really done up to this point is basically got all the plumbing together to build the internet, to build a TCP/IP network. Now, we're actually going to make it do something.
So here, we're gonna be talking about applications, and what is HTTP versus HTTPS, and ports, and all that kind of fun stuff to actually get something done. So again, if you're following along with my book, we're gonna be going through chapters nine, 10 and 11, as we understand how to make TCP/IP work.
