OS X Server security
- Now that we have virtually every service turned on that you possibly could on OS X server, I want to talk to you about locking down your server. This is a really good time to look at the rules that are in place and I want to introduce you to the Access panel. To do that, we're going to start over here at the OS X Server hardware area under Overview. And we're going to switch from Overview over to Access. Access is where you configure the ability to get to services for users and groups and for different networks or places where people might be coming from. All of your custom rules are listed in the area below here and the default rules for anything that's not listed in the custom area are listed above. If you want to change Default User Access, you just select the pull-down menu, select only some users, and you start entering the names of users who you want to have access to services. I'm going to enter the names of the users that we've been using here. There they are. I'll click OK.…
