Tolerances

- [Instructor] One of my favorite settings in the Navisworks environment, underneath the Clash Detective is the ability to set tolerances. Now these are tolerances for each individual clash test, and that's important to remember because I know that this is one of those things that I've been known to forget quite often is that if you end up changing the tolerance, and by selecting on the Select tab, you notice that there's a tolerance level right here, is that you're only changing the tolerance for the test that's currently selected up here. As an example, if I click on Duct vs Electrical, see how the tolerance, which had been at 0.006 meters, is now at 0.003 meters. Now, the purpose of a tolerance is that, in the case of a hard clash scenario, is that that object needs to be, in this case 0.003 meters directly into the object before it'll show up on the clash report.
