AutoCAD DWG to Navisworks NWC file

- [Instructor] Here we're going to look at how you pull an AutoCAD file into Navisworks. So under the Home tab if I said Append, and what I'm looking at is my Project, Apartments, Navisworks, Authoring File, AutoCAD, and the DWG file. This is one I created from exporting the 3D view into an AutoCAD format from within Navisworks. So it's really the same kind of model as we had, but now we have three dimensional solids, the section box in here. There's a three, so separate from Revit you'll see that these are based on layers. I can pick items in here and see them highlight in my model. So I could be turning things on and off in the model. If I don't want, I can also pick things in the view and turn them off there. The control for that would be under Options, and it would be the file reader for DWG files where I'm determining what comes in. So if I have like a sphere or something in AutoCAD, this would be the number of facets on every quadrant of the sphere; and those are my default…
