Set up a learning environment
- [Instructor] For our labs and exercises in this course, we're going to be using Vagrant and VirtualBox. VirtualBox runs the Virtual machines and Vagrant is the tool that orchestrates setting them up. Don't worry if you're not familiar with these tools. You should be able to follow these instructions to get set up. I'll walk through installing them quickly right now, but if you're on Windows machine, your process will be a little bit different. First we'll go to virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads with a capital D. The download is right here. I'm running a Mac so I'll click the OS X hosts file. Now you just open this up, and click virtualbox.pkg. Click continue, continue, install. Type my password. We can close this, and I'm going to move this to the trash 'cause we're done with it. Alright, close this. To install Vagrant, it's pretty much the same. So we'll go to vagrantup.com. And click on download on the screen. Find your operating system, I'm running a Mac. And we'll run this file…
