- [Instructor] We've got a basic monitor and set-up for single node. So let's start expanding what we're doing. First, let's add a couple more services to monitor on that node. I'm going to log back into my nagios box. Vagrant SSH nagios. And then sudo vim user local nagios etc objects main dot cfg. First, I'll copy the host definition for the webserver. And then I'll paste it below. Then I'll go in and change the name on the IP address. DB alias DB. And the address is the same but it ends with 30. Now that I have a second host, I can go ahead and start monitoring it. For now, I'll just add it to the ping service. Which I can do just by adding a comma in the name of the second host. I'll save and quit the file. And I'll reload nagios. It takes a little while before nagios runs the checks. Sometimes they'll happen immediately. Sometimes it takes a minute. We'll head back over to our nagios server. And make some more changes to the config file. Having to list out every server for every…
