What are NURBS surfaces?
- [Instructor] Under the surface tab, there's a couple of ways you can get a base NURBS element as a primary surface as well. Well, those is what's called a four-point surface. And with this, you can come out and pick four points. In this case, this is just a mesh. And it'll string a surface through those four points. That's one way to get that. Once I select okay, you'll notice it creates a body in the tree. And that is a NURBS surface. It doesn't have any history or anything like that. I'll just undo that. And another way that you can get a NURBS surface is to use a tool called fit surface under the more gallery. With fit, it allows you to create planar, spherical, and so on type surfaces. In this case, I want to freeform. What's the object that I want the fit surface to go through? That's my object. And with this, I can also specify if I want to use a CSYS or best fit or whatever that may be. But in this case, I'm…
