- [Instructor] Another part of the verification process is to validate that the wall thicknesses that you have aren't actually too thick, to make sure that you don't run into issues with walls that'll sink in or cause issues on the A side. So for example, if these ribs are a little too thick, and they're molded, you may actually have issues with shrinkage of the material underneath that wall, which would create odd-looking lines on the A surface. So we want to verify that we're not going to get those odd-looking lines. Remember, this is a piece of molten material. As it cools, everything is going to shrink. So we want to verify that our walls are the correct thicknesses. Now, I go under Analysis, and the tool I want to use is what's called the Check Wall Thickness. You may have to pull it out and stick it on your analysis toolbar here. But it's a great tool, and the way it works is I simply select on, and you'll notice it automatically picks the body.
