Trims and splits
- Based off of the method that I have described, as far as building primary surfaces, and some secondary surfaces, that are overbuilt. You are going to have to trim things back. And for that, we have a tool called 'Trim Sheet'. Select the body you want to trim, you can pick multiple bodies, and then select the object you want to trim with. In this case, I am going to pick the edge off of this blend. This could be a curve as well, it doesn't matter. Now notice, as soon as I select that edge I get this little red line. This red line is indicating that it is doing an extend to the boundary of that surface face. If I don't have this toggled on, its going to come back and give you a little message saying, "Hey, I can't do the trim, 'cause this does not complete chop off the face." So, we'll just turn on the extend. If I show a result, you can see that it does the trim for me. Let me undo that result. Now, I can also pick, in this…
